Inspired by the original “desert sessions” initiated by Josh Holmes, Olivier Joliat & Luc Montini stashed 26 musicians & photographer and a graphic designer in a studio for four days. The idea behind The Weekend Session was to write, record, mix and design an album in four days. Hosted at One Drop Studios, 26 musicians that barely knew each other captured 23 songs now featured on an exlusive vinyl edition (or as an iTunes download of course) designed by yours truly..

The lucious caramel squeezed between the traditional quality wafers will just melt in your mouth an make you scream for more… and this original delightful dutch pastry just got a complete packaging redesign in order to look as good as they taste! From the new cardboard boxes with 8 pieces to the shiny new single package when you’re on the road… well.. they made me an addict!

Almost two years ago Zimmerli of Switzerland had an enourmous succes creating a limited edition lingerie set named after its founder Pauline Zimmerli. Back then I had the pleasure of designing a luxurious packaging as well a creating a “Pauline” world for the promotional needs like shop windows, exhibition stands and more… Constant demand and the success of this series has led Zimmerli to create a new series in honour of its founder simply called “Hommage à Pauline N°2″ and once again I had the pleasure of designing the new packaging. Look for it in stores close to you when delivered this coming fall!

Anyone that has been to a Metallica concert in recent years knows about it. Robert Trujillo starting to spin around in place a few times, creating a windmill effect while playing on… it’s Robert Trujillo’s signature move. So infamous it even got motion captured to appear in the game Guitar Hero: Metallica. Now for Pacsal Brun this move was screaming for more! So in the heart of Venice, Ca. Pascal Brun and Matt Willi of Team Switzerland created this black & white still “The Spin” with Mr. Trujillo. Enjoy the result!

It was was of the most talked about rock event in 2010. The controversial & unique band that revolutionized music in the 80′s came back on track after twelfe years of absence. Having marked a whole generation with songs like Midlife Crisis, Digging The Grave and the incredible The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies (not to mention their version of Easy Like a Sunday Morning) this comeback made them instant headliners for festivals around the world. Having created FnM drummer Mike Bordin’s drum stick logo back in 2002 it was great working again with him and doing a photo shoot for the hole band in the cellar of the legendary (FnM home) venue The Warfield in San Francisco to create a Second Coming visual.

It’s nothing new… the world as we know it will end! Just as you thought Roland Emmerich (“2012″,”Indenpendance Day”) is epic you now have to re-think “epic”! Author Gregor Spoerri – inspired by a mystical archeological find that I have been prohibited to talk about – starts where Mr. Emmerich ends. More cynical and profound a new provoking image is casted upon our view of the planet… In order to design the book cover of this disturbing and mysterious vision of our future Flyart’s Pascal Brun has been granted the privilege of reading act one & two of his upcoming apocaliptic book “The Lost God” .. I can’t wait to read it all when it’s published in 2012.
